CoinSwitch is one of India's largest crypto platforms, and CoinSwitch PRO is the futures product inside it. AlgoPulse connects to PRO specifically: the ordinary CoinSwitch app is a spot product and issues no futures trading key, so the PRO account is what a strategy needs.
Open a CoinSwitch PRO account — the standard CoinSwitch app cannot issue a futures API key.
Create the API key with trading enabled and withdrawal off. CoinSwitch keys look different from other venues', which is normal.
Whitelist the AlgoPulse server IP from your Brokers page.
Connect, confirm the USDT futures balance reads, then deploy. Funds held in INR cannot margin a USDT perpetual.
The API key is trade-only. AlgoPulse can open and close positions on CoinSwitch PRO; it can never withdraw, and your funds never leave the exchange.
You need PRO. The consumer CoinSwitch app is spot-only and issues no futures trading key, so there is nothing for a perpetuals strategy to connect to.
Usually the money is in INR rather than USDT. CoinSwitch PRO futures are USDT-settled, so INR sitting in the account is not margin a strategy can use.
